Eligibility
- The Research Summit welcomes applications from early-career researchers with less than 3-years of post-graduation research experience.
- All participants are required to prepare a poster presentation in the Research Summit. The abstract should be submitted along with their application.
- All applicants must be endorsed to confirm support by supervisors.
Application Fee
- There will be NO application fee for the Research Summit. However, participants are responsible for any cost that may incurred, including but not limited to air fare, accommodation, visa application, meals and insurance.
- Participants will be staying in campus hostels during the Research Summit, accommodation cost will be HKD$230-250/night/person.
Interested participants with financial hardships may apply for the Research Summit Subsidy Scheme for financial supports. For details, please refer to the Subsidy Scheme Guidelines in APPENDIX I.
Application Procedures
- Application will be open from 16 Jan 2017, 00:00 (GMT+08:00) to 24 Feb 2017, 23:59 (GMT+08:00).
- Applicants can submit their application through our website csr.cuhk.edu.hk/ legumes2017/
- Applicants are required to fill in all information online, and upload a one-page CV, poster presentation abstract, and supporting documents (if any) as attachments. Endorsement will also be done online.
- Applicants will be notified of the results of Research Summit and the Subsidy Scheme (if applied) by early March, 2017.
