On 8 October 2021, ‘Food Security and Nutrition in West Africa: A Development Worker’s Personal Sharing’ was held at the CUHK and online via zoom with a total of 34 participants attended. In this talk, Mr. Steven Chun-Kit Li from the United Nations World Food Programme shared his personal experience in food security and nutrition as well as rural development and provided several project examples, working with international organisations and different stakeholders in West Africa.
It is the twelfth talk of a series aiming to promote agrobiotechnology and enhance understanding of the potential applications of agricultural products. The target audience includes international scholars, researchers, agricultural industry as well as the general public.
