On 4 December, 2020, ‘Food Safety Policies to Protect Global Public Health: Challenges to Enforcement and Motivations for Compliance’ was held online via zoom with 47 participants attended. In this talk, Prof May Chu from the CUHK introduced how food risks are regulated globally and discussed the challenges to regulatory enforcement at the national and domestic levels. It is the second of a series aiming to promote agrobiotechnology and enhance understanding of the potential applications of agricultural products. The target audience includes international scholars, researchers, agricultural industry as well as the general public.
