On 8 January 2021, ‘The Importance of Seed Quality in International Seed Trade’ was held at the CUHK and online via zoom with a total of 50 participants attended. In this talk, Dr Anthony Tse, Chairman of the Clover Seed Co., Ltd and Hong Kong Seed Trade Association Co., Ltd., introduced the international definition of high-quality seeds and discussed the importance of these seeds to international seed trade, economic value, agricultural productivity, and environmental impact.
It is the third of a series aiming to promote agrobiotechnology and enhance understanding of the potential applications of agricultural products. The target audience includes international scholars, researchers, agricultural industry as well as the general public.
