On 3 November 2021, ‘Ancient Foods with Modern Benefits: An Overview of the Health Effects of Soyfoods’ was held online via zoom with a total of 86 participants attended. In this talk, our speaker, Dr Mark Messina, Director of the Nutrition Science and Research for the Soy Nutrition Institute Global, has given an overview of the health effects of soyfoods as well as their controversies with the support of scientific literature, clinical and observational studies.

It is the thirteen talk of a series aiming to promote agrobiotechnology and enhance understanding of the potential applications of agricultural products. The target audience includes international scholars, researchers, agricultural industry as well as the general public.
