On 18 March 2022, ‘Soybean Cultivation, Production and Quality Assurance’ was held online via zoom with a total of 126 participants attended. In this talk, our speaker, Dr Joanna Chen from the CUHK has covered recent soybean production status in the world and the impacting elements that can affect soybean cultivation and production efficiency. She has also introduced international and national soybean seed quality related regulation, testing, certification and labelling system.
It is the 17th talk of a series aiming to promote agrobiotechnology and enhance understanding of the potential applications of agricultural products. The target audience includes international scholars, researchers, agricultural industry as well as the general public.
