In recent years, the genomes of many plant species have been sequenced with the advancement NGS technologies. Usage of plant genome information has become more popular in diverse research fields. In this presentation, the current status of plant genome sequencing will be introduced. Development of an easy-to-use DB is also necessary to widespread use of genome sequence information. Therefore, we have developed a simple and user-friendly plant genome portal site “Plant GARDEN”. The usage of Plant GARDEN will be also described in this talk.

The target audience includes international scholars, researchers, agricultural industry as well as the general public.
